An ANTI-AInxiety product

The 24-Hour AI Decision for Electricians

“I don’t see how AI applies to a business like mine” is the most expensive assumption on your books. Find out in 24 hours whether it’s true — and exactly where AI helps an electrical business, where it doesn’t, and what to do first.

Two hours of work, spread across a day

Six blocks. You write down where your week actually goes, read nine judgements about electrical contracting specifically, score your own list, run a safety filter, and write one page you keep.

Then you sleep on it and confirm it in the morning. That overnight gap is why it is 24 hours and not an afternoon — and it is the same discipline you already apply to every decision worth making.

What you end up with

  • Your angle — one piece of recurring work, named
  • Why it scored — against four written criteria
  • A fallback — if the first proves unworkable
  • Your stop list — what AI will not touch in your business, decided once
  • One first move — doable this week, costing nothing
  • What you’d need to see before spending money on any tool

Written for electricians, not for “small business”

The capture sheet is pre-populated with the work you actually do. The nine judgements are about estimating, site notes, customer messages, materials, and the paperwork around inspections. The stop list names the things that must stay with you — because they carry your name and your registration, and no tool can hold either.

This is probably not for you if you want:

  • A list of AI tools to buy. We name none, and that is deliberate
  • Someone to tell you AI can do your certification or code determination. It cannot, and we say so
  • A promise of time or money saved. We make none

The series

One guide per trade, because generic advice is why most people ignore AI

The 24-Hour AI Decision is written separately for each trade. The capture sheet is pre-populated with your recurring work, the judgements are about your job, and the stop list names the things that carry your registration. That specificity is the product — it is why a general “AI for small business” guide does not work.

Which trade should we write next?

Tell us your trade and we will build that edition sooner — and let you know the day it lands. No marketing list, no sequence, one email when it exists.

We use this only to decide which edition to build next and to tell you when it exists. Nothing else.

Questions

Before you buy

Is this a course?

No. No videos, no modules, nothing to log into. It is a workbook you fill in. Roughly half of it is blank worksheets.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You need no AI team, no new platform, and no purchase. Most people doing this already have everything they need.

Does it tell me which tool to use?

No, and deliberately. Named tools go out of date, and nobody can tell you a tool is safe for your business except you. We give you seven questions that work on any tool, and we keep a current note on what to look for.

Will it promise me savings?

No. It helps you reach a decision. What happens after that depends on your business.

What if the answer is “not yet”?

That is a real outcome and the workbook has a route for it. Knowing in writing that your core work needs you is worth more than a forced yes.

UK or US — what’s the difference?

The decision method is identical. The compliance layer is not. The UK edition is written around scheme registration and Part P; the US edition around permits, inspections and state licensing. Buy the one you work in.

Can I print it and reuse it?

Yes. One purchase covers reuse inside your own business, as many copies as your work needs.

This workbook is an operational starting point. It is not legal, regulatory, electrical, code, licensing, or compliance guidance, and it changes none of your obligations. It promises no savings, revenue, time recovered, or return on investment. The worked example is invented for teaching and labelled as such. No vendor is named or endorsed.
